Annikki Hovisaari Stoneware Wall Plaque

Striking mid-century “Ornament” ceramic wall relief designed by Finnish artist Annikki Hovisaari for Arabia Finland, circa 1960s. This elongated glazed-stoneware plaque features a raised modernist composition of circular and diamond-shaped forms against a rich cobalt-blue ground. Burgundy, cream, olive-green, and golden ochre crackle glazes give the piece exceptional texture, depth, and handmade variation.
